We had a medical emergency the last day of our cruise and could not make the ship in time to sail back to port of origin. Hospital (horror story) found us accommodations at this resort for the night. The front desk personnel and all of the other employees couldn’t have been nicer and ever so accommodating!! They helped me to get my injured husband into our room and back out to the taxi the next morning. EVERYONE WAS AMAZINGLY KIND. The room had a most beautiful ocean view, however was extremely musty and had black mold growing on top of slider valance below where the ceiling had leaked. This is not the fault of the staff…but the OWNERS of the property. I also had to kill the most gigantic spider that I’ve ever seen…it was on the shower curtain when I exited the shower. Not a pleasant surprise. Food is very pricey, but very good. I was however given a can of Diet Coke that had expired 10/23/23…8 months ago. I want to thank all of the staff who helped us and wish them the best. As far as future stays, I would not consider a return visit due to poor condition of room and various parts of the property.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The resort is on the smaller side (which was great for us - less people!) The staff were always super nice and helpful. Shoutout to Noah who took orders on the beach! The food was also good. There is only one restaurant (website makes it seem like there is two). One day, lunch was a buffet, because of a large group visiting. I would avoid this in the future. The food in the buffet was OK, but it was super expensive (more expensive than their normal menu) and did not think it was worth that price. Their normal menu items were great. The drinks were also on point. Again, there was only one bar (when the website mentions two). It looked like they were building a beach bar, so maybe that will be an option soon. On their website and social media page, they keep mentioning renovations. Our room was not renovated and was still outdated. It was clean though, so it wasn’t a big issue for us. Just fyi, water on this side of the island is a little more choppy (the reef doesn’t extend out as far) so snorkeling wasn’t great. The water was a bit murky. We did still see some cool fish, but the other side of the island has better snorkeling opportunities. If you just want the beach, this is great. There are some rocky bits, so you’ll need to be careful. The public bus is easy and inexpensive, so you can always travel to other parts of the island.

Largely a great stay weather wise. The hotel is doing renovations and the section I stayed in clearly hasn't gotten them. The restaurant was great both nights I ate there. The little beach at the bottom of hill was beautiful. You are paying for scenery here and you get your money's worth

Just spent a week at this horror show. Had no idea it was undergoing renovation, that should be emblazoned across their website to warn you. Pallets of vinyl flooring, mountains of 5 gallon paint cans and various other building materials were strewn about the entire premises. We ended up being moved from our original dated room to a newly "renovated" room which sounds good but the quality of the finishing is awful, the bathroom door wouldn't even latch, forget lock, paint on the new bathroom faucet and you had to be Scwarzenegger to open the slider to get to the paint splattered patio. We actually picked up litter on the beach so we didn't have to stare at it and apparently they are too busy to do basic maintenance. The only bar was rarely open, restaurant food was limited and expensive. I understand that it was off season but if you are open then everything should be available to your guest unless it says differently on your website. The view is beautiful and the majority of the staff were great with the exception of one of the front desk staff. When we complained that there were no keys to the safes in our original rooms, she found one for us but our friends got "sorry we don't have a key for your safe". What kind of customer service is that? Never even offered to find them a room with a working safe. We will definitely never go here again, worst hotel we have ever stayed in.

I was only here on a beach access pass and the beach here is incredible! Crystal clear water and super soft sand with lots of sun loungers.
