A hidden gem that had one of the best Bermudian fish sandwiches (add all the bells and whistles) I have had since being here over 6 months. Pretty small, so it's just grab and go but try it.

Try grannie's fish sandwich. Omg. SO good. With their own baked raisin bread. Can't wait to come back.

Locals will tell you they prefer Art Mel's Spicy Dicy to Grannie's, and from eating at both, I understand why. Fish is their main offering, and Mel's gives you not only a larger portion but also tastier fish. Grannie's fish was dry, perhaps because she said she was using local caught snapper, while Mel's served me frozen swai. The snapper pieces were small and easy to overcook; not so with Mel's Swai. On the other hand, Grannie''s fries were crisper and better tasting. Located right on North Shore Blvd, Grannie's is easier to find. But if you just walk a couple more blocks, beyond Grannies, turn right, and walk a block uphill, you'll find the fish much more palatable.
