Had everything we needed and despite being warned about food prices in Bermuda, everything seemed reasonable given it’s an island. Also, as someone working in safety, I was obsessed with their ‘safety wall’!
I had to be touristy, lol. I could not believe the prices of the goods. I understand everything has to be imported, but wow. One of the guys that was stocking up was very nice and friendly and answered my many questions about the goods that are made on the island and those imported.
Clean and well stocked, Supermart is a good option for fresh & reasonably priced produce, meat/dairy, frozen foods and alcohol. As someone else mentioned anything Waitrose brand is usually a good buy as well. They have a large prepared food buffet for take-out meals, and an in-store bakery. Decent selection of vegan and gluten-free products. However, for most packaged/canned goods and household items, buyer beware. Supermart has the most inflated prices on these items of any Bermuda grocery store. Many identical products (same brand and size) are priced anywhere from 15% to 40% more than their competitors. As always, in Bermuda it's a good idea to be aware of average prices and shop around.
Nice selection of goods. Clean buffet section, I always see an an attendant at the food station.
Quite expensive overall. Their salmon cake was nice but the code cake wasn’t very fresh. Has lots of grocery options and is not over-crowded. On the second visit, I bought some sweet potato fries, frozen vegetables, some house made shrimps and beef. Also got a local produced mango juice. All of good quality and reasonable price. Good but overall!
